Payment Options

Before Surgery

Our staff will estimate a patient’s out of pocket expenses including copays, deductibles, co-insurances using procedural codes provided by the surgeon, prior to registration. All patients will be notified of estimated out of pocket expenses via text, email, or phone call. These are estimates, and final billing for all balances will occur after the procedure.

Each patient will be minimally responsible for their copay. The remaining balance of the estimated out of pocket expenses will determine the up-front cost owed to Integrated Surgical Institute, as detailed below.

Payments will be collected on or prior to check in by the registration staff.  This payment will be applied to your account.  If payment is not received, the center has the right to cancel the surgery.  All forms of payments are accepted.

Note: Self pay patients will be required to provide balance in full in advance of the procedure.

Post Surgery

Patients will be sent a statement of balances due after insurance adjustments and pre-payments have been posted.  Patients are encouraged to pay the balance in full to avoid any collection notices.  Patients will receive three statements; if the balance is not paid in full within 30 days of the third statement or payment arrangements have not yet been made, the account may be turned over to a collection agency. We do offer the following payment options:

Payment in Full:

All forms of payment are currently accepted including cash, check, and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover).

Automated Interest Free Installment:

If you are unable to pay your balance in full, you can make installment payments based on the grid below at no extra charge after you have signed the attached Installment Agreement and mailed it back to the center.

If an installment is missed, the center has the right to move your account to a collection agency after 2 attempts to collect the missed installment.

Patient Lending:

Alternatives to the above options include applying for a patient lending program. The accepted patient lending programs are detailed below:

BHG: BHG offers flexible, affordable financing for patients with balances between $500 and $10,000. BHG will approve any patient with a credit score. They will work with you to establish a payment plan as low as $40/month with terms of the loan up to 60 months.  The application process is fast, secure, and can be completed on your phone, tablet or computer with no impact to your credit for applying.  In order to begin the process, you will need a personal email address and cell phone number.

CareCredit: CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed to be used for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by medical insurance. It is subject to credit approval, and minimum monthly payments are required. Approval is determined immediately upon completed application. Patients will receive a secondary statement with additional charges to cover CareCredit fees passed on to Integrated Surgical Institute.
